The YZF-R15S with a unibody seat has been designed to provide more convenience to both rider and pillion. Equipped with a 150cc liquid cooled, 4 stroke SOHC, 4 Valve engine, front and rear disc brakes along with a fuel capacity of 12 litres, 5 spoke alloy wheel and sporty graphics, this one’s for the supersport fanatics.
YAMAHA’s Humachine Technology aims to provide a superior riding experience for both the rider and the pillion. To create this, a Unibody seat has been adopted. This ergonomically designed seat gives optimal support to the rider and pillion, at all speeds.
The YAMAHA R-series bikes are equipped with under cowls that are based on the concept of a diffuser, to give them the best form for aero-management. These are not cowls for simply enclosing the engine, but forms composed of blade surfaces that actively control airflow.
The 150cc 4 stroke SOHC, 4 Valve Liquid Cooled Engine provides stable performance, reduces vibrations and offers a high quality ride.
YZF-R15s uses a special compact and lightweight aluminium radiator and a body design that utilizes airflow for heat dissipation. The result is a lightweight, compact body which retains its stable performance.
YZF-R15s is equipped with a linked type monocross suspension that delivers a comfortable ride and a cushioning performance that is less prone to bottoming out.
The ergonomically designed Unibody seat provides optimal support and comfort to the rider and pillion, at all speeds and over longer duration rides.
With a width of 130 mm, the rear tyre adds to the sense of machine volume.
The rubber compound and tread pattern, the crossing angle of the belts and the amount of turn-up in the radial carcass are designed for the optimum mutual balance to achieve excellent handling characteristics.
New sporty graphics provide YZF R15s an edgy and sporty look.
The linear swoosh graphics are a reflection of the adrenalin that it packs inside it. These sporty graphics give the bike a feeling of movement even when it is parked.
